Ingenia Communities Group is one of the largest owners, operators and developers of quality land lease communities and holiday parks.
Residents in our communities
Ingenia promotes a safe and welcoming community for our residents and guests. We are committed to providing quality affordable homes to suit the different lifestyles and pursuits of Australians over 50 in Queensland and over 55 in New South Wales and Victoria.
Ingenia Lifestyle communities residents own their own home and have an average age of 67, while the Group’s Ingenia Gardens communities provide affordable rental homes for an older cohort, with an average resident age of 74. Our communities attract a high portion of single females who value the security and peace of mind of living in a supportive environment while preserving their independence with comfort and confidence.
We pride ourselves on maintaining strong relationships with our residents and our commitment to providing an enriching environment builds upon our core value – creating community.
We strive to provide quality, sector leading communities across our portfolio, which consider the needs of today’s residents and future generations.
Our Ingenia Lifestyle and Ingenia Gardens communities operate to provide a range of benefits to residents that support mental health and physical wellbeing. These include:
- A range of facilities that support a healthy lifestyle for our residents, including walkable streetscapes, cycle ways, lawn bowls and other recreational activities, community gardens and dog park
- Activities programs (Be Active and Activate) which encourage social interaction, resident engagement and a sense of belonging
- A safe and secure environment with an approachable, engaging, dedicated on-site team
- Regular communication through community focused newsletters and direct contact with on site teams
- The Ingenia Gold Card which gives residents discounted travel to Ingenia Holidays parks.
Our residents also have access to Ingenia Care which provides free expert support to access health services and live independently. Click here for for more information on Ingenia Care.
We recognise that the age and circumstances of many of our residents places them in a position of vulnerability and have clear processes in place to manage issues and concerns.
The COVID-19 pandemic and the impact of bushfires on some of the Group’s NSW South Coast communities demonstrated the importance of maintaining a proactive approach to stakeholders across the business through times of crisis. To date, there have been no incidences of COVID-19 amongst the Group’s staff and residents and additional support was provided to residents to ensure their well-being and safety.
We actively engage with all our residents. Regular resident satisfaction surveys allow us to identify any concerns or areas for improvement and provide us with feedback on how we are delivering on our promise to ‘create community’.
Resident satisfaction and delivery of positive social outcomes are key drivers of asset level performance and underpin the delivery of sustainable returns.
