Ingenia launches National Family Room Partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities® Australia

Ingenia Communities Group was proud to launch the Group’s National Family Room Partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities® Australia.

Ingenia’s sponsorship will support the important work of the eighteen Ronald McDonald Family Rooms located within Women’s and Children’s hospitals across Australia which provide an important respite for families with seriously ill children.

In addition to financial support, Ingenia was pleased to provide the Ronald McDonald Family Rooms with children’s activity packs, and some key essentials.

Nikki Fisher, Chief Operating Officer for Ingenia Communities, who was at Lady Cilento Hospital in Queensland recently to experience the impact of the Ronald McDonald Family Room first hand said that Ingenia was pleased to support such an important initiative as part of the Group’s overall support of Ronald McDonald House Charities® Australia.

“It is wonderful to see the homely and welcoming atmosphere that the rooms provide and to see families take a break and receive some additional support from the lovely volunteers while staying in close proximity to the hospital wards if needed.”

“The opportunity to work with Ronald McDonald House Charities® Australia has been wonderful and it has been great to see our teams participating in the Meals from the Heart program and our residents knitting teddies and beanies for donation,” Ms Fisher said.

Ingenia is also providing financial support to the Ronald McDonald National Learning Program® and is providing a “Holiday on us” VIP holiday experience to a number of families in need through the Group’s relationship with Ronald McDonald House Charities® Australia.
