Michael Rabey

Executive General Manager Acquisitions and Development

Michael leads the growth and delivery of Ingenia's land lease communities nationally, with responsibility for acquisitions and development across the portfolio.

He joined Ingenia in 2022 as Head of Development for NSW and Victoria, also overseeing the Group's joint venture projects nationally, and was appointed Executive General Manager, Acquisitions and Development in 2024.

Michael brings more than 25 years' experience in property development across land lease, seniors living, residential and mixed-use projects. His work spans acquisitions, development delivery, operations, sales and marketing, and strategic growth. Michael has held leadership roles in both listed and unlisted property businesses, and earlier in his career worked across banking and finance in Australia and Europe, including a tenure with global consulting firm Accenture. He has been involved in projects with a combined acquisition and divestment value exceeding $1.5 billion and has led ventures that have collectively generated more than $1 billion in revenue.

Michael is a member of the Property Council of Australia's NSW Division Council and previously served as Chair of its NSW Retirement Living Committee.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Information Technology and a post-graduate qualification in Change Management from the Australian Graduate School of Management, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
